Priory Hospital Altrincham provides expert treatment for a range of mental health conditions and addictions.
The hospital is comprised of three inpatient units, providing specialist care for adults with range of mental health challenges, young people with an eating disorder, as well as an adult addiction rehaband treatment programme.
Altrincham also provides established, evidence-based outpatient treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, stress, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and bipolar disorder. We also offer private autism assessments for adults.

We provide private outpatient mental health treatment for adults, as well as young people under the age of 18. Our outpatient eating disorder service consists of patients attending our site in Altrincham for weekly, face-to-face appointments, therapy sessions, or remotely via a media platform such as Zoom. We also offer appointments outside of working hours. These sessions can be flexible around your work and other commitments.
We are also able to offer diagnostic assessments for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism.

- Access to both on and off-site 12-step support groups

At Priory Hospital Altrincham, we understand that during the first 12 months following treatment, it's likely that you'll need additional support as you progress in your early stages of recovery. That’s why we offerfree aftercare for 12 months, once you've completed our full 28-day addiction treatment programme. Our aftercare programme consists of twice-weekly support groups, continuous networking assistance, talks and advice for patients, as well as weekly family support groups. In addition, you'll finish the addiction treatment programme with a tailored continuing care plan and we're dedicated to supporting you in your ongoing transition from hospital back to your day-to-day life.

At Priory Hospital Altrincham, we're also able to provide a specialist outpatient eating disorder treatment service for both adults and young people. We can provide support for people struggling with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder (BED), and other specified feeding or eating disorders (OSFED), also known as eating disorders not otherwise specified (EDNOS).
