HCYLP Endowment
To give a more lasting gift, HCYLP has an endowment fund with the Community Foundation of Henderson County. The fund was created in 2007 by two members of the HCYLP board in an effort to ensure the long-term financial stability of the organization. Earnings from the endowment fund support the charitable mission of the Henderson County Young Leaders Program. Information on contributing to the endowment or making the fund part of a planned giving program may be obtained from the Community Foundation of Henderson County, 828/697-6224; a member of the HCYLP board, 828/697-2000; or your estate attorney.
Memorial Funds/Planned Giving
Larry Clouse, a childhood friend and classmate of Bill Bailey in Hendersonville, launched the idea of a scholarship fund in Bill’s memory to honor his sharing of his passion for the outdoors with children through summer camp opportunities. Larry saw HCYLP’s commitment to providing such opportunities to local children as a perfect match. Each year an HCYLP participant will be recognized as a Bill Bailey Memorial Fund camper. A planned giving program is available for this fund.
