Camper referrals

Participants in HCYLP experiences are initially nominated to the program by school counselors, teachers, the Boys & Girls Club of Henderson County, and other supervising adults from within the community. Children nominated are those demonstrating leadership potential who may benefit from a camp experience, but who may lack opportunity. Each participant has the opportunity to earn a progression of camp experiences and a year-around mentoring and education program, Pathmakers. Participants in the Pathmakers program may become eligible for full camp scholarships provided by the local camp community.
